Tia Sheck is the Clinical Manager of Magnet/Pathway to Excellence Program, Research, and Nursing Quality for Inspira Health, where she advances shared governance and evidence-based practice.
Tia Sheck, MSN, RN, CCRN serves as Clinical Manager of Magnet/ Pathway to Excellence Program, Research, and Nursing Quality for Inspira Health. In this role, she oversees, supports, and encourages staff to participate and create best practice change, which supports the organization’s effort towards high-quality care and patient safety. She also contributes to shared governance through many other facets at the hospital. Additionally, Tia serves as a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Inspira, where she guides staff in writing IRB proposals using current evidence-based research.
Education and Credentials
Tia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing within the nurse executive track at Chamberlain College of Nursing. Furthermore, she holds certification as a critical care registered nurse through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Tia has also begun an MBA program through West Texas A&M.
Professional Background and Leadership
Tia started her nursing career in 2014 with a clinical background in medical-surgical intensive care and leadership experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager. She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ, where she actively contributes to the marketing committee and recently accepted a Board of Directors position for 2021-2022. In addition, Tia holds memberships in Sigma Theta Tau, New Jersey Council of Magnet Organizations, and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
Tia is highly motivated and continues to grow professionally through her experience and her mentors.
