Jennifer Merioles, BSN, RN, CCRN is a staff nurse in the Float Pool at Mercy Hospital St Louis, a Level 1 Trauma facility, Stroke, and STEMI Center of Excellence in St Louis, Missouri. She floats to all adult intensive care units, and step-down and med/surg units.
Jennie attended Georgia Southwester State University for her associate degree and then her bachelor’s in science of nursing and has been a RN since 1998. For the past 25 years she has worked in a variety of adult ICUs, including medical, surgical, neuro, cardiovascular, and burn intensive care units.
Jennie has been involved with shared governance since its beginning at Mercy Hospital in 2010. She has served as both member and chair of both unit-based, as well as facility-level shared governance. Currently Jennie is chair of Mercy’s Facility Practice, Quality, and Research Professional Governance Council, a position she has held for just over a year.
