Tia Sheck, MSN, RN, CCRN is the Clinical Manager of Magnet/ Pathway to Excellence Program, Research, and Nursing Quality for Inspira Health. She is involved in shared governance through many facets for the hospital. Within her current role, she oversees, supports, and encourages staff to participate and create best practice change, which supports the organization’s effort towards high-quality care and patient safety. She is also a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Inspira. Tia is a research liaison guiding staff in the writing process for IRB proposals, using current evidence-based research.
Tia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She also completed her studies at Chamberlain College of Nursing for her Master of Science in Nursing within the nurse executive track. She is a certified critical care registered nurse through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Additionally, Tia has begun an MBA program through West Texas A&M.
Tia started her nursing career in 2014 and has a clinical background in medical-surgical intensive care and leadership background as an Assistant Nurse Manager. She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ, in which she is actively involved in the marketing committee and has recently accepted a Board of Directors position for 2021-2022. Additionally, Tia is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, New Jersey Council of Magnet Organizations, and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
Tia is highly motivated. She continues to grow professionally through her continuing experience and her mentors.
