Stacy A. Abraham is a nursing leader and shared governance advocate at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Michigan.

In this role, she supports and facilitates shared governance through many opportunities and pathways within the hospital’s staff development department.

Stacy graduated in 2002 from Macomb Community College with her ADN and has since returned as an adjunct nursing clinical instructor. In 2014, she graduated from University of Phoenix with dual master’s degrees: Masters in Science of Nursing and Masters in Business Administration. Together, these degrees create a unique blend of education and leadership skills. Her clinical background includes critical care, trauma, and cardiovascular surgery on the surgical intensive care unit.

More recently, Stacy has supported Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in the creation of its first Caring Science unit. As she helps lead the journey to an established and well-functioning shared governance structure, she is supported by her Steering Committee and several mentors.
