Jennifer Merioles, BSN, RN, CCRN is a staff nurse in the Float Pool at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, a Level 1 Trauma facility, Stroke, and STEMI Center of Excellence in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, she floats to all adult intensive care units, as well as step-down and med/surg units.
Education and Experience
Jennie attended Georgia Southwestern State University for her associate degree and then her bachelor’s in science of nursing. She has been a RN since 1998. Over the past 25 years, she has worked in a variety of adult ICUs, including medical, surgical, neuro, cardiovascular, and burn intensive care units.
Shared Governance Leadership
Jennifer Merioles has been involved with shared governance since its beginning at Mercy Hospital in 2010. Throughout that time, she has served as both member and chair of unit-based as well as facility-level shared governance. Currently, Jennie chairs Mercy’s Facility Practice, Quality, and Research Professional Governance Council, a position she has held for just over a year.
