Abdiqani Qasim is a nursing leader and consultant specializing in shared governance, advanced practice nursing, and hospital-based nursing education systems.

Dr. Abdiqani Qasim serves as the Executive Director of Training & Continuous Professional Development at the Ministry of Defence Health Services, Nursing Administration. In this role, he initiated the Standardization of Hospital-Based Nursing Education System and the Advanced Practice nurse role. Before coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he worked as a cardiology advanced acute care nurse practitioner in a tertiary teaching hospital for 10 years.

As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (Executive Educational Leadership), Abdiqani brings a professional career spanning more than 30 years devoted exclusively to healthcare. Over time, his experience has progressively increased in scope and responsibility, particularly in nursing management of multifunctional departments and hospital-wide performance improvement activities. In addition, he consults with organizations on shared governance, nursing education, advanced practice nursing, NDNQI, the Magnet program, management, and quality. He has also published numerous articles and presented at national and international conferences. Furthermore, Abdiqani serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Africa Nursing Sciences.

Abdiqani holds professional RN licenses in Canada, USA, and Saudi Arabia.
