Abdiqani Qasim, DNP, MScN, FNP, ACNP(c), RN, is currently a nursing consultant to the executive nursing administration at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he developed and disseminated a first-time nursing shared governance model. He is also spearheading the introduction and implementation of advanced practice nursing across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well the Magnet Recognition program and NDNQI projects in KFMC and C2 clusters. Abdiqani’s passion is developing staff, especially the younger generations.
Abdiqani has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (Executive Educational Leadership), and a professional career spanning more than 30 years devoted exclusively to the field of healthcare. His experience has progressively increased in scope and responsibility with respect to nursing management of multifunctional departments and hospital-wide performance improvement activities. He is a nurse consultant for organizations related to shared governance, nursing education, advanced practice nursing, NDNQI, the Magnet program, management, and quality. Abdiqani has published numerous articles and presented at national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for the International Journal of Africa Nursing Sciences.
Abdiqani holds professional RN licenses in Canada, USA, and Saudi Arabia.
