Tia Schober, BSN, RN, CCRN is an assistant nurse manager for a surgical intensive care unit (SICU) and surgical stepdown (SSD) at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, NJ. She is involved in shared governance through many facets for the hospital. Within her current role, she supports and encourages staff to participate and create best practice change, which supports the organization’s effort towards high-quality care and patient safety.
Tia sits on the hospital’s research, practice, CAUTI, and CLABSI councils. She is also a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Inspira and is the leader of the SICU and SSD unit-based practice councils. Tia is a research liaison and the leadership chair of the research council, guiding staff in the writing process for IRB proposals, using current evidence-based research
Tia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She is currently studying at Chamberlain College of Nursing for her Master of Science in Nursing within the nurse executive track. She is a certified critical care registered nurse through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Tia started her nursing career in 2014 and has a clinical background in medical surgical intensive care. She is a member of AACN and the Organization of Nurse Leaders of NJ, in which she is actively involved in the research and marketing committee.
Tia is highly motivated. She continues to grow professionally through her continuing experience and her mentors.
